This introductory course covers the fundamental principles required for coaching success. Participants develop their own coaching philosophy while building a strong professional foundation. Topics include communication, safety, athlete development, and effective collaboration with parents and the wider community.

Created by internationally renowned technique analyst Russell Mark, this course provides a professional framework for teaching effective stroke mechanics. Through detailed video analysis of elite swimmers, coaches gain a deeper understanding of technical principles and progression strategies that support long-term athlete development.

This course introduces the physiological principles that influence swimming performance. Coaches learn how to design effective training plans including periodization, seasonal planning, recovery strategies, and tapering.
